A sign of things to come...

So, it's 5:35pm on a Friday and I'm sitting in the office just running down for the weekend. I have a massive grin on my face as I just got chocolate cake, free beer and I bashed Luke's table tennis ball down six flights of stairs; much to my amusement and his annoyance. Great! I don't think people use the word "bashed" anywhere near enough. I used to think the same about the word "spastic", but now I use it far too much. I wrote a song about it once. It wasn't very good. It went along the lines of:
He thinks he's really cool with his Puma and is Kappa,
But his mother is inbred and his father is a spacka.
That pretty much sets up the tone for the whole song. It was pretty awful in all reality.
Apparently my brother has just been on the radio. Good old Touch FM from Burton-on-Trent, our home town. They're having a MySpace war, and if you add the DJ he'll mention you by name, so after adding him, true to his word, he mentioned my brother... "Lord Steve of Glencairn" as he likes to call himself. Ever since last Christmas when my parents got him a one square foot plot of land in Scotland he's been using the title "Laird" (Scottish equivalent of Lord). He also did one of those online things to become a Reverend, so he also likes to call himself that. It's one of those Church of Good Faith things or something. I don't like to ask!

Anyway, what am I doing this weekend you might like to know. Well, the short answer is nothing. The long answer is nooooooooothing. Next week is pay week, so I'm poorer than MC *can't touch this* Hammer as it's the "end of the month" syndrome. Typ-i-cal. In situations like this I'd usually hang out with my housemate, but she's gone and buggered off the the OktoberFest in Germany for five days, so Billy no mates here has got a weekend date with his sofa, the television and an abundance of microwavable curries. Yes, it's going to be one of those weekends! Thinking about it, why is OktoberFest in September... hmmmm.
It's approaching 6, so I'm going to consider buggering off now to enjoy my weekend of nothingness, but if something interesting happens during the weekend, you'll know about it on Monday. Hope you all have a good one and I'll catch you on the flip-flop.
